 During the 18th century, the rows of this grape, now become an integral part of this landscape, surrounded a beautiful villa, was earl Zass's family summer residence. Their little daughter, matilde, was a little girl grown up among this grape rows, and her favourite play was make wine with Salvatore, farmer'son.
Year after year, her life was marked by the vintage time, until she decided to live in her summer residence with Salvatore. Novadays the real Falanghina is only produced in the phlegraen fields, and "Matilde Zasso's Farm", situated in thecentre of these lands, is one of the main producers. Also the location is the same: the ancient villa Zasso's.
Today, this wonderful farm is cherished by Salvatore Vicidomini and sons, and everyone of them take care of any single sector of production.
